Stephen Curry and the Davidson Wildcats Take on the Blue Devils

Duke managed to gain enough of a lead on an early second half run to hold off Stephen Curry and the rest of the visiting Davidson Wildcats on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in men's college basketball at Cameron Indoor Stadium

The Blue Devils beat the Wildcats 79-67. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 29 points. Duke's Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer each had 22 points.

Curry was impressive. At one point late in the second half he threw a cross-over dribble move on the defender who had no choice but to foul Curry by pulling his jersey from behind.

In the end, it was Kyle Singler who got the final chants from the Cameron Crazies. Scheyer hit a late three to even his total points with Singler, but the Crazies already had their player of the game.

Duke will be staying in the no. 2 national ranking spotlight.
