Watching Duke absolutely crush Maryland today at Cameron Indoor reminded me of the national semi-final game in 2001, which I was photographing in Minneapolis. Duke was down 25 points and won the game. Once Duke starts making baskets, they seem unstoppable.
This time around, Duke started hot putting them ahead by 25 points in no time before finishing 41 points atop ACC foe Maryland. Maryland head coach Gary Williams was taking the chants from the Cameron Crazies as they belted out "Sweat Gary, Sweat!"

The Blue Devils prevailed 85-44. The Blue Devils were led by Gerald Henderson with 17 points. Duke totaled 23 assists, 12 blocks and 11 steals. The Terps' Landon Milbourne scored 19 points with no other Maryland player scoring more than 5 points. Jon Scheyer chipped in 12 points and Kyle Singler added 11 points for Duke.

This last shot is a "I'm glad it wasn't me" photo. Its fairly dangerous on the baselines as two photographers see Duke's Kyle Singler land atop them in the first half.
