Big Weekend for Triangle ACC Football

North Carolina hosted Georgia Tech in a battle of ranked teams with the Tar Heels prevailing at Kenan Stadium. Later in the day, Duke hosted N.C. State with the tilt going to the Wolfpack.

UNC's Hakeem Nicks broke the career receiving record for North Carolina. Now 7-2, the Tar Heels are atop the Coastal Division of the ACC but Virginia Tech holds the tie-breaker which is head-to-head.

Meanwhile, the Wolfpack remain hopeful for bowl eligibility which would require them to win their remaining games. The Blue Devils need to win 2 of their last 3 to go bowling.
