The re-Freshening of the Old

A photo I shot in the 5th grade, circa 1985, with a plastic Holga. These cameras had three choices for focus: portrait, group, mountains
Reminiscing on my past has been quite entertaining over the past couple of weeks. I have found some unique photographs in my archives including the first photograph I remeber taking. I am amazed how many different mediums I have used in my career.
I have shot with a Holga plastic camera, a pinhole camera, Polaroids, 4x5, 2&1/4, 35mm, the early digital cameras and now the latest and greatest digital SLR's. I see many photographers going back to the old tricks as they have become niche product. Photogs are shooting the Olympics with Holgas, wedding portraits with tilt/shift and even daring to go back to film for corporate work. I am all for it.
I am so glad I held onto my college camera, a Nikon 8008s. I miss the multiple exposure feature which seems to have been pushed to the waysides with Photoshop. Call me a purest, but if you can produce the effect in camera, its way better.
